USA Today Personal Job Search Agent - This is actually a part of 'The Monster Board' (see below). Fill out the form and it will search the classified ads for a job for you then e-mail you with anything it finds - and it's free!

  • Yahoo Classified's - Links to a lot (but not all) of the classified ad's in the USA - organized by 'Metro Area'. Not a very useful site but included here simply because it IS Yahoo.
  • Alt.Jobs.Offered - This is a Newsgroup used by a number of Employment Agencies to post job openings, most of them are Technical in nature.
  • misc.jobs.resumes - A Newsgroup where you can post your resume as a 'Wildcard'

    us.jobs.resumes - Another Newsgroup, used by a lot of recruiters.

    (HINT: Look up Newsgroups containing the word 'Jobs' or 'Employment' with your favorite Newsgroup reader. Many specialized groups - such as departments of the Federal Government - have their own employment section and regularly post openings in their Newsgroups).

    HINT: Also try the phrases 'Employment Opportunities, 'Job Opportunities, and 'Current Openings' with your favorite search engine.

Canadian Business Advertising Network - Fill out their form and get your resume submitted to companies all over the world.

Career Avenue - Keeps the information you give them confidential.

Career City - They claim you can search 125,000+ listed Jobs.

CareerPath - Boasts of almost a quarter of a MILLION Job openings. Highly praised by almost all reviewers.

Career Mosaic - Offers you the choice of public or confidential Resume posting.

CareerSite - Requires a sign up, but they have free confidential resume posting and a 'Virtual Agent' which will scout the ads for a job matching your requirements.

EmploymentSkills - Requires a FEE to post your actual Resume, but you can register your skills for FREE.

E-Span's ResumePro Databases - They have their own database AND submit your resume to other similar sites.

InstaMatch - Text based resume databank that if frequently sluggish, so be patient.

IntelliMatch - Allows you to e-mail your resume in TEXT FORM ONLY, but also allows you to block specific employers.

Internet Job Locator - Posts your resume to many resume newsgroups.

Job Web - 'Linking Job-Seekers and Job Search information.'

Internet Professional Association/Recruiters Online Network - Post your TEXT BASED resume here and you can also 'introduce yourself to a recruiter'.

HeadHunter.Net - You have to register first, but then you can post your job skills and have them distributed to a variety of headhunters.

Job Locator - Text resume posting to Newsgroups and databases. Also has links to other job search banks on the WWW.

Monster Board - One of the most well known Employment Sites. Post your resume here and you can block certain companies (like your current employer?) from looking at it .

Overseas Jobs Express - Post your resume here and make it available worldwide.

Resume Resevoir - You can choose text to post your resume in or use HTML to post it as a Web Page.

SkillScape - You need to register first then they use a database of over 6000 Skill Definitions to create a resume that companies can look up.
